The automotive giant Genesis has announced the launch of a new sub-brand, Magma, aimed at high-performance models. Magma will be designated for sportier versions of existing Genesis models, including the GV80, G80, as well as the X Gran Berlinetta and GV60 Magma.

According to expectations, the first model to enter serial production will be the electric GV60 Magma, which will feature enhanced performance, an additional brake cooling system, and improved batteries and electric motors. Additionally, the car will be equipped with 21-inch aerodynamic wheels and sporty seats in the cabin. The hallmark of the entire Magma lineup will be its vibrant orange body color.

Starting from 2025, Genesis will focus exclusively on developing electric models, while continuing to produce vehicles with internal combustion engines. The plan includes the release of six environmentally friendly models: two electric cars and four crossovers. One of them, the SUV Electrified GV70, has already been unveiled.
